It does certainly seem that the trend for chefs looking to further their careers are heading for corporate gigs instead of hanging out their own shingles, so to speak....which is understandable and unfortunate.......but, Blacksheep is not only a great restaurant but it's also a unique and interesting concept that runs counter to the prevailing winds.

We are indeed lucky to be getting this perspective and it's incumbent on us readers to take an active approach here to promote the Food Section and what it's mission is (which is to get us thinking instead of just consuming)........so, if you like what's going on here, help grow the community by spreading the word.
